Step Right Up and Take
a Tour !
This was our
second annual Riley tour. Our student council from the High School, Middle
School, and Elementary, along with our Kids Club members, were able to head to
Indianapolis and tour Riley Hospital for Children. It was a great day and a
wonderful way for our students to see where our fundraising money actually
goes!
Invitation to Visit the
NICU!!
While
touring the hospital, a parent invited us up to visit with her baby daughter.
It was a great experience for the two students selected for the visitation.
They suited up and got a first-hand look at the amazing medical technology
available at Riley. This experience was one that these students will never
forget!
Riley Wagons
The little red wagons were a big hit
with our group. They were amazed to see little children being transported
through the hospital via these wagons. It was wonderful to see the
compassionate smiles our students gave to the families. So very touching!
Teachers Just Want to Have Fun!
Our teachers
had just as much fun as our students. Because we went around Halloween, lots of
costumes were being worn and fun displays were throughout the hospital. Trick or Treat for Riley!!
(We did not
know the two folks in the middle but they were very friendly!)
Riley Donations
Our students collected many items
that we took to the hospital. These items could be used in the Ronald McDonald
House. Physically bringing items meant a lot to our students. It gave us a
sense of truly helping!
Congratulations to Eastern Washington School Corporation on becoming a Riley Miracle Corporation.
Talk to Susan Miles or Robyn Burroughs to arrange a tour!!
